The ABOARD Rafting guide will welcome us and organize a shuttle to drop off vehicles at the arrival of the canyon.

Then, we will make an approach walk (15 min.) to the entrance of the canyon.

Canyoning in Riolan

The Riolan is a magnificent canyon whose descent is very aquatic, mainly done by swimming through sometimes very narrow meanders opening onto large pools or snaking under large boulders. A good number of jumps (maximum 6m) – optional – and a few abseils (maximum 15m) will punctuate the swimming sections. The canyon is formed in places by impressive limestone walls up to 300m high, and holds the surprise of a slide that is sure to provide thrills!

NB: We start the descent of Riolan at the upper access in order to enjoy the entire route, above the old Roman bridge, from which short descents start …
